The prompt identification and optimal management of retinal vascular diseases are essential to prevent ophthalmologic complications and vision loss. The continued advancements in diagnostic imaging, as well as refinement of dosing schedules for intravitreal therapies, are providing further potential for the improvement of patient outcomes, especially when integrated into preferred practice patterns. Furthermore, the ongoing assessment of current and emerging therapies is changing treatment paradigms for patients with retinal vascular diseases. In the Intravitreal Interventions series, Volume 7, the latest data from clinical studies and updates to guidelines will be reviewed and discussed to provide expert guidance for the optimal diagnosis and management of patients with retinal vascular diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusion.
